WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR A STARSEED TO PRETEND THEY FEEL NOTHING?
A Starseed notices things in people that are never spoken aloud. A slight change in tone of voice, a look that lingers differently for a moment, a message that feels different than before, a silence in a conversation, a distance that appears without any visible reason. Everything may look the same on the outside, yet something within knows that something has changed.
This sensitivity can be both a gift and a heavy burden to carry. When you notice even the smallest changes around you, it is easy to begin analyzing them as well. What happened? Did I do something wrong? Why does the other person feel different? Am I only imagining this? Then a Starseed begins to doubt their own experience. They try to reason their feelings away. They convince themselves that nothing has happened because no one has said anything. They wait for visible proof of what they have already felt within.
But not everything is expressed through words. People carry emotions they may not yet know how to face themselves. They can say that everything is fine while their entire presence tells a different story. A Starseed can notice this contradiction quickly. Still, not everything you feel needs to become yours. Another person’s sadness is not your sadness, another person’s fear is not your fear, and someone withdrawing does not mean that the reason is you.
This is exactly where sensitivity needs boundaries beside it. You have to learn to pause and ask what truly belongs to you in this moment and what is simply passing through you as something you have noticed. You do not need to react to everything. You do not need to solve everything. You do not need to save every person from their own emotions.
When a Starseed learns to trust themselves without carrying everything around them, their sensitivity begins to change. It no longer pulls them constantly into the emotional states of others. They can notice a change and still remain centered within themselves. They can feel deeply without losing themselves in what another person is going through. Not everything you feel belongs to you, but you also do not need to keep doubting yourself simply because others do not say aloud what you already sense. Your sensitivity is not asking you to carry the whole world. It is asking you to learn what in this world is truly yours to carry.
