LETTING GO CAN ALSO BE LOVE
For a Starseed letting go is not easy when the connection with another person has been deep. They are not letting go only of the person but also of the feeling, the hope, the shared moments and the future they had already begun to build in their mind. Still there comes a point when holding on begins to hurt more than letting go. That is when love changes its form.
A Starseed understands that not every deep connection is meant to continue for the entire journey. Some people come to open the heart, reveal vulnerability, teach boundaries or awaken something that would otherwise have remained hidden. Their meaning does not disappear just because the shared path comes to an end.
Letting go does not mean that the love was meaningless. It means that a Starseed stops holding on by force to something that is no longer moving in the same direction as they are. They stop waiting for a message, a change, a return or the moment when everything will be as it once was. They accept what was and at the same time what is no longer there. There is a great difference between the two. Holding on keeps a Starseed tied to what was while letting go frees them to meet what is here now.
A Starseed does not need bitterness in order to let go. They are allowed to remember the good. They are allowed to feel gratitude. They are allowed to love what once was without having to remain in that place. True letting go begins when they stop asking why the other person did not stay and begin asking what the connection taught them about themselves.
What did they learn about love? What did they learn about their boundaries? What did they learn about their own worth? And above all, what did they learn about how deeply they are capable of feeling without having to lose themselves in that feeling anymore? A Starseed does not let go because the connection was meaningless. They let go precisely because they understand its meaning.
Not everything valuable is meant to be held on to. Some connections come to leave a mark on the heart and then continue on their way. And sometimes the purest way to love is to open your hands. Not because the love ended, but because the holding on did.
