WHY DOES A STARSEED NEED SOLITUDE?
A starseed may find themselves needing solitude more than those around them. This is not because they lack care for others or a desire for connection but because constantly being among people can feel draining in a way that is hard to explain. Throughout the day, one accumulates conversations, emotions, expectations, a sense of haste and things left unsaid yet deeply felt. Sometimes it is only in solitude that one realizes just how much has been carried along.
In those moments silence becomes more than just the absence of sound. It is a space where there is no need to answer to anyone, conform to anything or try to be anything. Gradually the voices of others fade and one’s own inner voice begins to emerge again. A starseed may sometimes withdraw even from the people they love. This can easily be interpreted as growing distant when in reality it is a process of recovery. They need a moment when no one requires anything of them a need that can stir up feelings of guilt. Should I be more social? Should I reply to messages faster? Why does the company of others sometimes feel heavy even when there is nothing wrong with the people themselves?
Yet not everything needs to be fixed. A need for solitude does not mean one is meant to live alone. A deep connection with others and a need for personal space can coexist within the same person. In fact having space to yourself can make it possible to return to others while being truly present. In solitude a starseed also notices things that remain hidden in the rush of daily life. What feels right for you? What is it time to let go of? In what direction is something within trying to lead you?
And sometimes there is no need to understand anything, it is enough for the world around you to go quiet for a moment. For you do not need solitude because you do not belong among others, you need it so that amidst everything else you can remember once again what it feels like to be you.
